History of Garment Resources
Working for one of Karachi’s leading textile buying agencies, Adnan Abbas felt a gap in the communication between the customer and the agency. He felt that there was room for improvement in the services that they extended and wanted a more personal connection with the companies he worked for.
Adnan’s skill in connecting with his clients led him to start his own buying agency, Garment Resources, in 2003 from a desk in his own bedroom.
Working round the clock to build a reputation for his company, both locally and internationally, Garment Resources moved to a small office in a commercial area after a few months.
What was formed as a textile buying agency, transformed into a small manufacturing unit for woven garments in 2008. Now manufacturing under the head of Al Anwar Apparels, there has been no looking back for Garment Resources.
With over 50 machines and the capacity to produce 15000 pieces per month, we are now looking to increase our output as well as extend our services to the manufacture of knitwear as well.
